Exporting GTDify tasks to Google calender
Here is another tip for those who want to sync GTDify tasks with Google calender. Using iCal feeds of GTDify, you can easily export your due tasks to Google calender. Just follow these steps:
1. Navigate to the menu View > Calender in GTDify
2. Right click on on iCal button at right side of the page and copy the location (Copy Link Location in Firefox; Copy Shortcut in IE) of the GTDify calender.
3. Now in Google Calender, click the Add down-arrow button at the bottom of the calender list on the left side of the page, and select Add by URL
4. Paste copied iCal location in textbox and click Add Calender
Google calender will read the GTDify calender and import all tasks which has due-date. Please note that this is one-way task synchronization. Marking any task as done in google calender will not update automatically in GTDify.

Thanks for trying to sync with google products. However, my ical link is not working with google calendar. I think it may be a timezone issue since I am Pacific time GMT-0800. When I check google calendar settings for my gtdify calendar feed, it still states GMT+00:00 — even though my.gtdify.com admin setting is Pacific (as well as my google calendar general setting).
Another timezone issue I found was that the gtdify preferences page states a time 10 minutes faster than standard internet time.
I know this feature was newly introduce a few weeks ago. Just wondering if there’s a fix.
Thanks for the app!

Hi, I started using Google syncing capability following the above steps, and it worked well only once, and it doesn’t work anymore.
I repeated the procedure again from zero (created new token and new calendar), and the calendar is not updates any more.
Can you give me some guidance.
Thanks
Funny, I followed these steps and could not see any event in my gCal!
I’ve investigated why, and I’ve realized that Tracks uses ‘VTODO’ tags instead of ‘VEVENT’ in its ical format. I thought Google Calendar didn’t support this ? How did you make this work in yours ?
Ok now I see why:
I’ve used the iCal provided in the ‘View>Feeds’.
Still when clicking on the link ‘Get this calendar in iCal format’ I get an error saying the file was not found
thanks, very useful.
did this with toodledo also.
This doesn’t seem to work. When I click on the ICAL, it takes forever (literally) to load, i.e. it doesn’t seem to load at all. Hence, the ical doesn_t show any events in Google Calendar.
Hi.
Does not work iCal calendar export.
Hi GTD,
You have a wonderful program and site, thanks!
I have followed your instructions above, it adds to google calendar and shows as an additional calendar, however, none of the tasks actually show up?
I have checked time zones, I have current active tasks with due dates, it is showing as an active calendar within google, but just none of the tasks.
Adding to igoogle and gmail worked perfectly!
Any ideas?
Nothing shows up. I didn’t think Google Calendar supported VTODO?
